How I respect your privacy:
The Big Picture: I use Google Analytics to see general patterns—like whether people are finding the site through search or social media. It helps me understand what’s working so I can grow this project in a way that feels sustainable and quiet.
Anonymized Tracking: These tools show me that someone visited, not who visited. It estimates a general location (like your city or region) so I can see where in the world the community is growing. Of course, you’re welcome to use a VPN to try and confuse me—I won't mind if you "visit" from Antarctica!
The Power of Invisibility: If you prefer to be completely invisible, you can turn off cookies in your browser. As a fellow introvert, I fully support your right to ghost the data—I won't take it personally.
The Email List & Forms: If you choose to join the email list (via MailerLite) or fill out a form, I’ll have the info you explicitly shared (like your email or your general location in the world). I only use this to send you what you asked for or to help coordinate events.
Easy Exit: Every email has an unsubscribe link. If you ever want your form responses or info deleted entirely, just let me know and I'll take care of it.
No Sharing: I don’t sell your info or share it with third parties for their marketing. I just use a few tools (like Google and MailerLite) to help me run things.
The Bottom Line: I’m doing my best to honor your privacy while keeping the lights on here. Now that the technical talk is over, feel free to head back to the rest of the website—which is the whole reason I have this page in the first place! I’ll be over here, nerd-ing out over the data (anonymously, of course).
