Testimonials are like those “before and after” photos where the lighting mysteriously improves. They’re curated. They’re partial. They’re subjective. And yes, I’m choosing the nice ones. Fortunately, IU 1.0 didn’t produce any dramatic disasters — just a few “maybe do this differently” suggestions that made sense for that version of IU.

These reflections are from IU 1.0, which was a long‑term, weekly community. We met every week, people got familiar with each other, and the comfort level grew simply because we kept showing up. IU 2.0 isn’t built that way, but the open, exploratory spirit is the same.

So think of these as small snapshots from a previous chapter — honest stories from a time when IU was shaped by continuity and community. Read them if you want a sense of what some people experienced.
